The first free charging station for electric vehicles is inaugurated on the Vía de Evitamiento
This station is available to all those users who own an electric car and wish to recharge their vehicle with the energy necessary for its circulation.
Lima Expresa, the concessionaire of the Vía de Evitamiento and the Línea Amarilla expressway, implemented the first free electric charging station on the Vía de Evitamiento, at the Huánuco operating base. This station is available to all those users who own an electric car and wish to recharge their vehicle with the energy necessary for its circulation.
Likewise, it announced the putting into circulation of a fleet of eight 100% electric vehicles, which will be used in its road operation.
The eight 100% electric vehicles will emit 86% less gas emissions annually and will save 95% in costs than those produced by a fleet with the same number of fossil fuel vehicles. In addition to having a positive impact on the planet, in a climate emergency context, the implementation of these cars will significantly reduce operating costs.
Laurent Cavrois, general manager of Lima Expresa, stated: “VINCI Highways is firmly committed to promoting and developing initiatives that are aligned with green growth, as indicated in the VINCI Manifesto. Last year we did a pilot project for electric mobility and today we present our new fleet of eight 100% electric vehicles. We are proud because we continue to focus on improving the energy and environmental performance of our infrastructures, hoping that our clients are also eco-responsible ”.
